Welcome to Structura™. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Structura™ Chrome Extension (the "Extension"). Our goal is to help you organize and manage your debate evidence efficiently while respecting your privacy and protecting your data.

By using the Extension, you agree to the handling of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. The Extension only accesses information that is absolutely necessary for its core functionality. We collect the following type of information:

• User-Selected Text: The Extension only processes the text content that you explicitly select within your document. We do not access, scan, or store any other part of your document or any of your other files.

We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, location, or Google account details. The Extension does not collect or store user-specific API keys.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used exclusively to provide the Extension's features:

• To Process Your Content: The selected text is sent to our secure backend proxy server. This server then forwards the request to Google's Gemini AI API to perform the requested action, such as generating a summary or tag. This processing happens in real-time.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. The data sharing that occurs is strictly for the Extension's essential functionality:

• Structura™ Proxy Server: Your selected text is first sent to our secure backend server. This server acts as an intermediary to protect our API key.
• Google's Gemini AI API: Our proxy server sends the text to Google's Gemini AI API for processing. Your data is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms of service.

5. Data Security

We are committed to ensuring your information is secure. Our architecture is designed to protect both your data and our service's integrity:

• Data in transit between the Extension and our proxy server, and between our proxy server and Google's Gemini API, is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security).
• The API key for the Google Gemini AI service is stored securely on our backend proxy server and is never exposed to the client-side Chrome Extension or your browser.

6. Data Retention

We do not store your document content. Our backend proxy server processes data ephemerally.

• Document Content: The selected text is transmitted for real-time processing and is not permanently stored or logged by our Extension or our proxy server.

7. Limited Use Disclosure (Google API Compliance)

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. User Rights and Control

You have full control over the content you select. Since we do not collect personal data or user-specific API keys, there is no user account information to manage or delete. You can uninstall the Extension at any time to cease all functionality.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
